I do a lot of reviews for Ring to Cage stuff and it might be getting boring to read by now, but they seriously put out very good gear. This bag is no exception. It's made from high quality materials and has excellent reinforced stitching. The straps are thick and sewn tightly. The logos are well done.

The mesh material feels thick and very strong. This mesh bag is awesome for sweaty gear. I was coming from a water proof bag so if I forgot to air anything out it would stay moist until I aired it out.

This bag is great since I just leave the entire bag in my backyard and everything dries without me having to separate things or lay them out. Also there won't be anymore need to put in dryer sheets or bag dogs to keep it from smelling. This design airs everything out.

I left a sweaty pair of gloves, wraps and clothes inside it and an hour later it was dry. It sounds a bit lazy on my part but it was a long day and I didn't want to deal with it at 10pm. The bag is just very well made and pictures don't really do it justice.

Something that I really liked about the bag is they went with hard plastic instead of metal or aluminum clamps that connect to the should straps. My old bag did have the metal clamps and over time it rusted pretty badly from the sweat and elements it was exposed to. The only thing that's metal on this bag is the zipper but that's pretty standard on a duffel bag. When I received the bag I was worried that it was too small.

Mesh Gear Bag 2FT

It's a short looking bag but it's a lot wider and taller than it appears to be. I was very surprised by how much gear I could fit in it. I actually was so surprised that I stuffed in as much as it could carry. I ended up being able to carry 2 pairs of 16 oz gloves, 1 pair of bag gloves, 1 headgear, 1 shinguard, 1 pair of mitts, 2 pairs of wraps, 2 mouth guards, tape, gauze and other training necessities.

Knowing myself I'll probably take a few things out but I did want to take advantage of all the room that was offered.

A few things keep the bag from being perfect though. I thought the bag could have used at least 2 more pockets on the ends of the bag or at least 1 zip up mesh compartment. All it has is 1 large compartment and 1 smaller compartment on the side of the bag.

The request could not be satisfied.

They hold a lot of items but a couple more pockets would have been a welcome addition for those who really like to compartmentalize their gear. The next thing is me just nit picking but I thought Ring to Cage could have embroidered a logo on the should strap. It's just a plain thin shoulder strap.
