Students strengthen career skills, learn decision making strategies, practice professional communication, and collaborate with others to solve problems.

Students discover and strengthen the skills they need for continued success throughout a university degree program. During the third and final semester of PathwayConnect, students will begin working on the first certificate that will ultimately lead to their future bachelor's degree. Students will select which certificate to take during their second semester of PathwayConnect.

Games for Your 12 Week Old Baby - 0-3 Month Games

PathwayConnect students ages take one institute course each of the three terms they are enrolled in PathwayConnect at no extra cost. Available courses vary at each institute location. This course focuses on the eternal ministry of Jesus Christ and His divine roles and teachings throughout His premortal, mortal, and postmortal life.

Students will deepen their understanding of the Savior Jesus Christ and increase their personal discipleship. This course centers on The Family: A Proclamation to the World and develops gospel doctrines and principles pertaining to a successful and happy marriage and family life. Students will focus on different sections of the proclamation throughout the semester and study related scriptures and talks.

This course centers on coming unto Christ by reading, studying, and applying the teachings of the Savior as found in The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Available courses and gathering times vary at each institute location. For non-native English speakers, PathwayConnect helps students improve their English by providing them with additional speaking, listening, reading, and writing support.

In addition to taking courses online, PathwayConnect students also gather once a week at a local institute or church meetinghouse or virtually through online groups, where they participate in learning and leadership activities associated with their courses, build friendships, and get support. Students will gather for either two or two-and-a-half hours each week. This includes one hour for an academic gathering, plus a religion gathering that ranges from one hour to 90 minutes. Some students participate in institute, and available courses and gathering times vary at each institute location. PathwayConnect gatherings help students deepen their learning through teaching.

Each week, a different student takes a turn leading learning activities and discussions during the gathering.

Most students say that weekly gatherings are their favorite part of the program. PathwayConnect is available in more than countries. To see if PathwayConnect is offered in your country, visit the Locations page. PathwayConnect offers support that makes learning online more manageable. In addition to our BYU-Pathway Support Center , students are supported by fellow students, mentors, course instructors, and service missionaries. Students meet together at a weekly gathering where they build friendships, get support, and participate in course-related discussions and educational activities.

Mentors assist first-semester students by helping them stay focused on their purpose, directing them to resources, and developing a plan for success.

Each PathwayConnect location has one or more service missionary companionships who encourage, motivate, and care for the students. Online courses are taught by professionals dedicated to meaningful interactions with students, including answering questions and providing feedback on assignments.

No matter the question or problem, the BYU-Pathway Support Center can help current and future students apply to PathwayConnect, enroll in courses, pay tuition, and much more.
