William Subin should be lauded for taking on a tough job with little expectation of monetary gain against an over zealous prosecutor. Its difficult to understand why the prosecutor put the families through a criminal trial but the book explains it well for the layperson and the professional. Started reading and have enjoyed what I've read, but have decided to put this away until the first snow storm hits, then I can finish the book.

William Subin, has argued that any suspension should be no longer than 90 days — the length of time Higbee lost his license after paying two tickets for motor vehicle violations related to the crash. Higbee was on duty in his marked troop car when he ran a stop sign while chasing a speeder in Upper Township, Cape May County. His flashing lights and sirens were off because he was "closing the gap" with his target, which Subin has said is correct police procedure. While crossing the intersection, he slammed into a minivan driven by year-old Jacqueline Becker.
