As much as most of us enjoy erotica, there is always a place for a really beautiful love story that examines the people, their situation, what makes their relationship go forward and what keeps them hanging from time to time. I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5. This review was originally posted on Book Binge by Judith. Jan 23, Judith rated it really liked it. A very romantic story about two careful people. Their paths cross in a vacation setting and their relationship grew in spite of a few emotional potholes that could have easily upended their affair. However, it is a family-oriented love story and so well told.

I enjoyed it immensely. Jan 28, LynnMarie rated it liked it. Lena's Review Julia Belden thought she found love but once again she has failed. Nick is not alo Lena's Review Julia Belden thought she found love but once again she has failed. Nick is not alone but has a kid that reminds Julia of what was lost. She has always wanted real love and children something Nick had before in his life. Her ex comes a calling and now she must choose. Can she go on forward and finally get the love and family she deserves or will she stay in the past and rekindle a love that was lost in the past?

Nick Sitello had everything a man could want in life, a loving wife and a great kid with a nice home and job. Yet fate threw him a curveball leaving him with just his little boy. Even now he is confused about his new feelings towards Julia Belden. His little boy loves her already like a possible mother but knows life has full of surprises for all of them. Just when he thinks he can reveal his true feelings a man from her past comes back.

Can he tell Julie his real feelings without feeling like he cheating on his wife? Will he ever find peace and love again in his life? These two have suffered so much in life yet are stubborn at revealing their feelings. I felt bad for Nick and what he went through in his first marriage yet Julia suffered the most.

Together these two shared a common thing; lose a loved one yet staying strong to move on in life. These two were great yet in the beginning they did caution their hearts at finding love again. Donna Marie showed that love does come around you just have to open your hands and catch it proving that even Nick and Julia deserve it.

However, they both had major baggage. Julia had just signed her divorce papers. Nick had an 8 year-old son, Sammy. That began an unusual attraction between the two that developed into an interesting, fun read. Julia and Carl had a shell of a marriage for ten years. After their divorce, his former boss, and friend, contacted Julia and asked her to help Carl recover from his addictions. Nick could not understand why she felt the need to help Carl overcome his meltdown. This, of course, caused an additional set of problems.

Donna Marie has presented her readers with a fast moving, interesting romance. Her main characters were poignant individuals who had traumatic pasts. Their summer romance was plagued with other mishaps. He had been in my thoughts and prayers. I wanted to see how he was doing and perhaps offer hi m a little something to eat, or a little money, or something to keep him warm. In fact, with Andrew in mind, I dug around a bit in my hall closet and pulled out a scarf that my husband had not worn in years and I asked him if I could give it away to a homeless man. I thought I could bring it with me when we went back up to that area of Massachusetts.

Well, Dave said he wanted to hang onto that particular scarf. But something was definitely brewing in my heart.

Recently, when passing through that area, I purposely strolled over to the area where I had met Andrew a few weeks ago. I was so delighted to see him again and I told him that I remembered that his name was Andrew. Then, he got right up from the sidewalk and reached into his pocket to pull out the blessed medals I had given him a few weeks ago.

He said he always keeps them with him in his pocket. My heart was secretly soaring. And, I told him that I was happy that he still had the blessed medals. We chatted a few minutes and then I gave each of the homeless men a dollar bill. I handed the scruffy-looking man with the nose ring who was sitting next to Andrew, two of the same kinds of blessed medals that I had given to Andrew previously. He seemed very happy to receive them. I told him that they were powerful medals. I pray that God blesses these men and all those who are living on the streets.

I have an inspiration to do something to help keep our brothers and sisters warm. I would like to give warm scarves to the homeless that I will have attached blessed medals onto in advance. But, giving out the scarves is a way to help the needy to stay warmer, as well as have the protection of the blessed medals too. Do you have a winter scarf hanging around? Would you like to donate a scarf to help keep someone warm? Do you crochet or knit? Would you like to make a scarf for the homeless? Or perhaps you would like to buy a scarf for the homeless.

I will add the blessed sacramentals a Miraculous Medal and a St. Benedict medal that has the FULL exorcism blessing on it to the scarves and give them to the homeless and will find ways to distribute them. Imagine the beautiful fellowship that can unfold as you chat and pray, and knit or crochet away! I recommend that you start with a prayer when you gather together.

Or, purchase or collect donations of scarves, gloves, and hats or from your own closet and attach blessed Miraculous Medals on them and hopefully a blessed St. You can get them at my website or elsewhere. My medals have FULL blessings upon them.
