Great conclusion to this novella series! Leighton, please continue the story of Cash and Oliva's growing family. It would be wonderful if say you wrote a novella checking with our favorite couple coping with their adoptive daughter and raising identical twins I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to this novella series.

I loved every word of this novella, and was completely thrilled with the story I got and the fantastic level of emotion and feeling that I got from Olivia and Cash. This part of the story, like the others in this series, was filled with emotion and feeling, passion and love, and some serious twists and turns. All of that combined to make a story that I was completely captivated by and couldn't put down. This final installment I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to this novella series.

This final installment brings Cash and Olivia's story to a close, and once again just reminded me why I've loved their characters so much. You get into both of their heads and you just feel how deeply and truly those two love one another. This story has forced them to face something they didn't see coming, but you get the phenomenal chance to see them face that head on together in this story. Seeing and experiencing that just makes you love their characters more, and allows you to understand and fully feel how deeply they love one another. This final installment once again has the best blend of everything to make this story one that you can't put down.

It gives you more of the characters you love, more of the fantastic twists and turns, and just a taste of a new character that I can't wait to learn more about. I was just so happy reading this final part to Cash and Olivia's story because it just made me happy to see them in this story and reach that ending they both so truly deserved. Leighton once again did a wonderful job of emotionally investing me in this story, and writing a story that I completely loved every word of. It was captivating and consuming and just so good to read, and M.

Leighton's writing brought about a fantastic conclusion to a fabulous series. I loved everything I got to experience with Cash and Olivia in this book.

I cannot even begin to understand that feeling, my hubby only had to look at me to get me pregnant. Then when superbitch arrives, spoiling what was a lovely Christmas meal, all Olivia's calming nature took a hike, then her poor father has to have heart surgery, Olivia was such a trooper even though she though her world as she knew it was collapsing, Cash's love for her never faltered. They have and share a great love. There were things amiss with Sophie, the ex and Isabella, the little girl brought back into Cash's life under the impression that she is his daughter, even looking like Cash, they firmly believe she is his daughter only causing Olivia to feel that disheartened that she wasn't the one to give Cash his first child.

I loved how Olivia was able to overcome these feelings and help Cash adjust to being a father. Even when the DNA clinic gets totaled, they still find a way of getting to the truth. The third and final part to the Always With You series, was perfection from beginning to end. I was most definitely not expecting that to unfold!! None of it made sense at the end.

Not the Sophie adding herbs to O's drink and then learning she's pregnant WTF this makes no sense given that she hated O , not the mercenary coming to kill them, none of it. And there are more questions What's up with that relationship? Jun 02, Jo rated it really liked it. Cash, Oliver and Isabella. Cash deserves what he had and so did Isabella. Thanks, we are in love. Aug 13, Teresa rated it it was amazing Shelves: This series was 5 stars all the way for me.

I read the whole series in one go and it was great. Although the Always With books were about Cash and Olivia and the fairy tale happy ever after they thought would come once they were married. I would have liked the epilogue to have included Nash and Marissa so we could have found out about them and their baby.

This was just ok. The story was sweet but predictable but its a light, easy read. Oct 28, Erin rated it really liked it. Always You is the story of Sarah and Cahal, childhood sweethearts who were pushed apart by their families when Cahal left for Australia. Now, by circumstance, they have been reunited years later, all grown up with kids and emotional baggage.

Each of them has their own version of the events that took place back when Cahal left. When Sarah is introduced to Cahal at a comany event she is taken completely by surprise, and their old, buried but not forgotten feelings come to the surface all over again.

Sarah, divorced mum of Molly and Lewis, and also a successful career woman, has never been truly happy. Her one true love, Cahal, flew out of her life 20 years ago. Even though she married the father of her children she was never in love. With her ex-husband being re-married, and his mother health deteriorating by the day Sarah has a lot on her plate.

Cahal flew to Australia to escape from his rough background and had expected Sarah to follow him. Disappointed then he is now also a divorcee with three sons. He is less than keen on the man who has effectively taken his place, in his house, Brady his ex-wife Adele's new husband. Ian, Sarah's ex-husband, is having marriage problems again.

His new wife isn't interested in his kids, in his mother and family commitments, and barely seems interested in him. Ian is still in love with Sarah, and is on the verge of trying everything he can to get her back again. The story is told in the third person and is mostly narrated by Sarah, Cahal and Ian. Third person really helped with the story as it saves the reader having to remind themselves who is telling the story.

It starts in , with a look at Sarah and Cahal's relationship before everything broke down, and them jumps to , where it would seem, they are destined to meet again. Throughout the story there are flashbacks from both Cahal and Sarah which allow you to get glimpses at different parts of their past together. I liked Sarah and Cahal's characters; I thought they were both believable in their feelings towards each other but also in their actions. The story has some underlying themes, mainly an almost Romeo and Juliet-esque theme as Cahal and Sarah are from different sides of the track.

Sarah's family are less than pleased when her young self announces her relationship with Cahal. And when the pair are reunited again it would seem that her family went to lengths she couldn't have imagined to keep her apart. So there is a bit of a mystery to be solved which is a bit of a page turner. I wasn't keen on Ian's character, I always felt quite uneasy reading about him, because I wasn't sure of what he was capable of, what lengths he would go to, to reclaim his family. But, in the end, Ian is only a poor soul who has lost his way slightly and with some gentle guidance from his mother he gets himself back on track.

Overall, a really great read, touching and though provoking, plus I kind of imagined Cahal as Gerald Butler so that was a bonus too. Nov 16, Susan rated it it was ok. Fast forward twenty years and life. Fate brings them together when Cahal returns from Australia to the take over of the firm where Sarah works in H. Old flames are rekindled, but crucial issues remain.

This was more than just a Romeo and Juliet story. It emerged as one of family loyalties, mis-communications, lies and betrayals.

Always With You: Part Three

How could the couple revoncile their lives and that of their children and ex partners across the continents? Is Sarah willing to let go of her promise on the death of her mother to care for her much younger sister, Becky, who is carving an independent life as an adult?

I have never read any of Erin Kaye's books so I didn't know what to expect but I am very glad I took the chance to read as it's definitely made a good impression. I will be looking forward to reading some more Erin Kaye books in the future. Now why would I say so you might wonder. Right from the first chapter I warmed up to the idea unrequited love between Sarah and Cahal.

The love they shared was pure, beautiful and passionate which compelled me to feel there heartbreak when they had to be torn apart The bonds between characters in the book were cleverly written. Always you emphasises on family, love and friendship. The characters came to life in my head as Erin Kaye managed to create such real every day people that you will sympathise with when the going gets tough and wish to be part of their happiness.

It discusses serveral themes such as family bonds, tragedy, loss, sacrifice and forgiveness.

Jun 05, Megan Readinginthesunshine rated it it was amazing. How to Outline Your Novel Part 3: 3 Act Structure

The romance between Sarah and Cahal was very well written. But as I say, this makes it seem very real, and it gave me something to root for, I really wanted to find out what the reasons were behind this disapproval and I desperately hoped that Sarah and Cahal could overcome this. The story flows beautifully and I never felt rushed with the pace of this novel. I thoroughly enjoyed spending an afternoon with my head buried in this book. Although from the cover, it seems like s a straightforward romance, there were in fact a few twists and turns that I was surprised by and did not see coming, so these is a lot more in store!

Always You is a compelling and very-well written story of romance, secrets, family and second chances at love. It is emotional, full of dreams and hope, and sometimes touches on more serious subjects, but it is gripping and a story that I would definitely recommend. So any time you get stuck, ask yourself, how can I make my protagonist suffer?

Bickham suggests two ways:. My character might try to poach a really good engineer from another group because she hates hiring. Somewhere around thirty thousand words, I hit the dark night of the soul. I dropped the beat sheet outline into my novel, placed my scenes in his guide, and found a bunch more scenes to write. It almost doubled my word count and dehorked my plot. Get Save the Cat to learn more tricks from screenwriting and more profoundly understand these beats.

But anyone who has done NaNoWriMo is probably a little relieved. Part of me feels these are formulaic. The other part of me knows that formulas can keep you going when the muse refuses to nurse you anymore.

Writing a novel is an exercise in tolerating ambiguity.
