Insanity, It's like i'm floating on air Psychopathy, Live life with too many cares. Insanity, These illusion never end. Captivity, Behind bars that never bend. The corruption goes on Light is peeking through the darkness, Purity Don't feel anymore of the stress. It's already fading away Sometimes I think of my health They shot me down, Speak out and I'll be "abused," I hate it when you "possess" me, I'm feeling so used.
Your acid gnaws at my wounds My wounds bloom for the world to see Your acid's slowly killing me. Your venom flows in my veins It cause me so much hurt and pain Forever, shall it poison me? Your vemon's slowly killing me. They Come to Me. They're all my eyes would see When they come to me I hate the voices that speak to me.

I am a flower that has been fortunate enough to bloom. I have schizophrenia too! I am writing a memoir I hope to publish by the year , the year I turn forty. Rebecca's essays and poems are great! We need more schizophrenics getting poetry and prose published, especially the women. One person found this helpful. Ms Chamaa's book is a must read for anyone interested in the experiences of those living with mental illness. She expresses herself in an easy to read book of poetry and prose which becomes a window of understanding into her complicated and sensitive mind and must be at least a reflection of the experiences of some of those we love but who are unable to write so succinctly.

The skillfully woven arc of these essays and poems creates an exquisite, sometimes heartbreaking, story of paranoid schizophrenia. The author explains the nuances of the delicate balancing act she lives through daily. I raced through the first read of the book because I'd never had schizophrenia explained to me -- I wanted to know what happened.
