When you actually get into the Palace, you will have some nasty Nobodies to deal with. Move on and go speak to the Emperor. After raiding all the eight treasure chests in the room, continue outside to face off with a Kingdom Hearts colossus. This Heartless dragon may appear more intimidating then actually is.

If you take advantage of all the opportunities to fly-up and jump on his back, he should be a piece of cake. Take notice of the little geysers of wind located all around the area. Once your on his back, lock-on and wail away on his front horn. Soon enough, he'll get agitated, do a barrel roll, in an attempt to knock you off. Stand directly in front of his path, and hit him at the right moment.

This knocks him out and gives you a window of time to run-up and hit him several times. He will fire back with bombs, lightning, and the occasional huge blasts that occurs when he lands. Of course when he lands, you can also run-up and beat those horns some more. The Emperor presents Mulan with Shan-Yu's sword as proof of her bravery, and it reveals itself to be a gateway to another world.
When Sora returns, he finds Mulan searching for a man in a black coat. After the fight the man disappears. They rush to the Imperial Square to find that everything is fine, though the door to the Palace is locked. Mulan, Donald, Goofy, and Sora sneak in through a window, only to find a man in a black coat at the door to the throne room. Sora asks the man if he is Riku, only for him to be revealed as Xigbar. Inside the Throne Room, the Emperor tells them that the other black-coated man came to warn them of the danger of the Heartless, and the team rushes out to the Imperial Square to defeat it.
When they return, Sora asks the Emperor if the man in the black coat said anything else. Captain Shang answers that the man said "Three wise guys would take care of everything". Sora smiles, realizing that Riku really was there.
After that, Mulan asks if Captain Shang can have a vacation. The Emperor says that he cannot allow this, but that he can have Mulan work with the captain.

Mulan eagerly agrees to this and the story of the Land of Dragons ends. The only daughter of the distinguished Fa family, Mulan has a hard time acting the way everybody wants her to. She's sure she'll never fit in. But when her aging father was ordered to join the Imperial Army, she sneaked away and risked her life to take his place.

Captain Shang has to train a disorganized group of recruits who've been drafted to help fight the Huns. He sure is a stickler for discipline, so he must have his hands full getting his inexperienced troops into shape. He used to be one of the Fa family guardians, but Mushu's mistakes got him demoted to the lowly job of gong ringer. He hopes to prove himself and win back his place among the other guardians by helping Mulan. The Emperor rules China with wisdom that's said to be as vast as the ocean, and with a resolve that's as unshakable as a mountain. Chien Po sure does love a good meal.
Why does Riku fight Sora in The Land of Dragons?
In fact, he'd probably rather dream about food than glory or adventure. Shan-Yu and his enormous army are fearsome fighters who have defeated some of the Emperor's best troops. Now Shan-Yu plans to use the Heartless to invade the Empire. Shan-Yu has fierce eyes, and is always seen with a hawk who serves as his eyes and ears from above. Sign In Don't have an account?
