An awareness of the four personality types can be helpful both at work and home. Of course we all have bits of all categories, but knowing our predominant one helps explain the differences in our reactions to different situations, and interactions. I found the book somewhat repetitive, hence the 3 stars. As a speaker, Allison rates 5 stars!! It's simplified personality type grouping, so it's pretty general, but insightful nonetheless. I prefer Myers-Briggs because of how specific it is, however most people seem to fit in to or relate to one of these four groups also. Am a massive fan of sophisticated type tests if only for their ability when used correctly to help Mooney groups personalities into four categories:
