Bride of 9 Spiders catches Danny off guard with her feminine wiles, something the celibate hero has no defense against, before she poisons him and engages him directly. Danny remembers Lei Kung telling him to abandon grief for his parents and either choose to embrace darkness or reject it-he rejects the Bride's words and takes her down with a kick, after performing a kata that blows the nearby lights out!
Lei Kung tells Danny that facing the dragon as in Scythe and Shao Lao carries risk even with victory. Danny refutes Scythe's insults and when offered to pick a weapon, replies that he is the weapon.
They fight, Danny unarmed and Scythe changing weapons until Danny shatters his double-scythe with the Iron Fist and ignores Scythe on a conscious level, reciting the prophecy of himself while blocking Scythe's attacks until he punches him with the Fist itself and actually prepares to kill him-something he has yet to do. Danny has, in the moment, fully embraced his destiny as Destroyer of the Hand and every fight shows what Kung spoke in the early parts of the episode-that Danny's greatest enemy is himself and when he is at harmony, nobody can touch him.

Bakuto vs. Danny, a no-holds-barred showdown in a cramped space. For Danny. Davos and Danny teaming up to escape the Hand compound. Keep in mind, the pair are not just taking on a few guards.

Episode 11 - Lead Horse Back to Stable. Colleen escaping from the Hand compound.
Episode 12 - Bar the Big Boss. All of Colleen and Bakuto 's katana fight, particularly when Bakuto breaks Colleen's katana, and then she kicks the broken point into his leg midair. Not so bad for a "teacher of children", ey? Episode 13 - Dragon Plays with Fire. In the final battle: Danny and Colleen storm the Rand Enterprises building looking for evidence that Harold Meachum framed him for the Hand's drug trafficking, only to be pinned down by security in the boardroom.
Colleen tries to back him up, only to draw Harold's fire - so Danny goes nova. He uses the Iron Fist for a Ground Punch - it's as if a car bomb went off. Even better than the shot from the trailer as the full force of the blast is shown - it wipes out an entire floor. Claire : Danny, I hope like hell you know what you're doing. His former view of heroes changes after being saved by Sneck and Max, revealing gratitude and respect for the two heroes, who returned to the stadium in order to save him. After being beaten to the verge of death by Bakuzan, he finally and truly sees the error of his disdained view against heroes and desperately screams for a hero to come to save him, with tears in his eyes.
Despite being in a state of hopelessness and near-death, he still holds pride, since he refuses to lick Bakuzan's foot, and instead breaks his toe, even when it is his only chance to gain mercy from a monster that is tormenting him, proving that he has a strong sense of willpower and pride, since he is not willing to lower himself like other fighters who quickly gave up their humanity if it meant they got to survive or become more powerful. Saitama complimented Suiryu on his tenacity to fight the monsters single-handedly until Saitama had arrived.

After witnessing Saitama defeat both Bakuzan and Gouketsu with little effort, Suiryu becomes grateful to Saitama for saving his life and goes as far as asking him if he can become his disciple. Furthermore, he is also inspired to become a hero by Saitama's heroic actions. Suiryu is a martial arts prodigy. Despite having spent most of his time goofing off or not taking his lessons seriously, he still ultimately became one of the most revered martial artists in the world, considered a legend for winning four Super Fight tournaments in a row.
He defeated two A-Class heroes with one kick each, and reached the finals of the tournament with little effort. During his fight with Saitama, he was able to display strength and fighting abilities on par with S-Class heroes, able to make Saitama put a little effort into not being eliminated. Bakuzan stated that if he is able to kill Suiryu, that would make him the strongest.

After the Super Fight tournament, Suiryu was able to fight and defeat four martial artists transformed into monsters of Tiger, if not Demon level might. This display of fighting power impressed even Gouketsu, the first champion of the Super Fight Tournament, who had become a Dragon level Mysterious Being. At one point, Gouketsu offered Suiryu an executive position in the Monster Association if he chose to become a monster, implying that if he ate a monster cell, he could become comparable to Gouketsu. However, as a human, Suiryu is no match for the likes of Gouketsu and Saitama, who both defeat him with ease.
He easily cut the fighting ring in half with one chop and proceeded to flip up half of it with one stomp. His overwhelming strength was enough to terrify most of the audience in the tournament, including the security. He was strong enough to deflect and kick Choze's energy projected attack into the sky. Suiryu was also strong enough to blow off one of The Three Crows heads with a single kick despite being in his weakened state.
With his last burst of strength he managed to break the toe of the Dragon level monster Bakuzan. This seems to indicate he could possibly put up a decent fight against Monster Bakuzan when at his full power. Even when he is completely drained of energy, he had enough power to crack the concrete when he smashed it with his fist.

When flexing his muscles, he is able to shatter metal bars around his biceps, showing off his incredible muscle power. His attacks were even powerful enough to launch Saitama into the air. The Immortal Weapons embark on a hunt for Cheng, while attempts to learn about his new adversary. He soon learns that Orson Randall was only able to escape Cheng by addicting himself to heroin, thus damping his chi and leaving Cheng under the assumption that he had died. While searching for a way to defeat Cheng in the Book of the Iron Fist, Iron Fist, discovers that his assistant, Nadine, is an accomplice to Cheng, after she poisons his coffee. While 's chi prevents the poison from killing him, it is sufficiently strong to weaken him significantly. All of a sudden, Cheng arrives in 's office, thanks Nadine who, although being Cheng's "beloved," appears to have been a rather reluctant accomplice , and prepares to finish what he and Rand started.
Just then, Nadine steps in and attempts to stop Cheng, revealing to him that she is pregnant with his child, and does not wish for their baby to be the child of a murderer. Cheng, is it revealed, is seeking the retrieve the heart of the Iron Fist in order to enter K'un Lun and devour the egg that births the next Shou-Lao the Undying every generation, thus wiping out K'un Lun's Iron Fist legacy. Despite having slain every previous Iron Fist who did not otherwise fall in battle or relinquish their power excepting Orson Randall , Cheng has always failed to reach the egg.
Cheng, who it is also revealed has been slowly buying out Rand Int. Following the duel, the Immortal Weapons, Luke, Coleen, and Misty arrive, and reveal to that they have discovered a map in Cheng's apartment that leads to the Eighth City of Heaven, whose existence was mentioned by Xao during the tournament of the seven cities.
