Does my friend actually need to buy Cho'Gall or am I missing something? Edit : Thanks for all the info guys, appreciated! It seems I have to ready up at Cho or Gall first and itll prompt my friend.

Plus it occasionally bugs out so ill keep trying! Basically the person who doesn't own the character must have a character they own or is free selected but not locked in. After the game person who doesn't own will have to show a character they own again otherwise it won't let you lock in.

Damnit, I just unlocked them recently. Had no idea the other person just had to lock in for me to be able select the other half. RIP 10k gold, lol. If one of my friends does not have Cho'Gall then that friendship is ogre. I can't hang with a bro who don't know Bro'Ballin'. After the owner hovers Cho or Gall, the friend should see a green border around the corresponding Cho or Gall portrait.

    • At this point, the owner can lock in one, then the friend should be able to lock in the other. I don't know exactly what Blizz did to the player select, but they need to change it back. Atleast that's how it worked during the Cho'Gall event and from what I know it hasn't changed. I'll use this thread to ask a question, is it still possible to get Cho'Gall for free by playing with someone who owns them?

    How It Works

    There have been reports of it happening to people well after the event was over, but it shouldn't be possible. I got them for free when they had the free hero week back in march by getting them both to 5 however my friend didn't get them. The player who owns Cho or Gall needs to select it first while the other character is on a hero that they currently own.

    Once one of the 2 dudes are chosen, the friend may select. As someone else mentioned, the owner of Chogall needs to ready up while the other player highlights another hero they are eligible to play, and then switch over to the head they are playing and ready up. It's a funky system due to how readying up in a party works. Join forces with your friends and conquer the Nexus as one mighty team.
