I have been on a cruise, but this, I didnt know what to expect. The village visits and them selling their wares was also very disorganized. The landscapes were to die for, the service was excellent. I didnt know we were to keep the jackets, I thought they were just like the boots and we would return them.

I dont expect a response, but it would be nice. Thank you, Cassandra Griego. This trip was amazing. Quark Expeditions never leaves me dissatisfied. My luggage was lost in-transit to Svalbard and the staff were so helpful during this situation. They did their best to help track the luggage. It wasn't returned to me until the trip was over, but the on-board gift shop allowed me a credit to help me get a few things.

I was also offered free laundry service. Despite not having much to work with, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was celebrating my birthday on this trip and the staff presented me with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. The guides are so unbelievably knowledgeable and love to teach you about the areas you're exploring.
This was my second trip with Quark and I hope to someday travel with them again. Thank you for such wonderful memories! The expedition journey was well conceived and had excellent leadership. Every opportunity was taken to respond to the wishes of guests and landings, etc were crammed into every day. Lectures were absolutely appropriate and of high quality. Wonderful trip! Every aspect of the trip exceeded expectations. More than what we ever hoped for. Saw everything we wanted to see, made new friends, had a great time.
Would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. From staying in Longyearbyen to exploring the ice flows and islands for wildlife.

Just an amazing time. The trip exceeded my dreams. On the first day, the itinerary had to be changed drastically, as a storm on the coast made it necessary to sail the entire time inside Scoresby Sound: This was wonderful as we went to the far West and explored several intermediate fjords. The lectures and conversations with the guides were great, and the crew members were always helpful and cheerful.
I liked having a relatively small number of passengers 57 , who were quite companionable. I worry that shifting to a much larger ship up to passengers , as I understand is planned for next year, will alter the intimate, relaxed experience. The expedition team was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable interesting and hard working. We were kept busy and entertained.
