It's been years since I crocheted anything The step-by-step instructional illustrations are spot on, the written instructions very clear, and the finished afghans are to die for. Even if you've never crocheted, you could make one of these superb afghans with the instructions in this book. There's only 3 afghan patterns in this book. One person found this helpful. This is a nice little book on vintage ripple and granny square afghans.

I'm looking forward to making an afghan from one of the patterns. I have to squeeze it in among my other projects. Pictures are included with the instructions. Excellent patterns and descriptions. I'm not an afghan person, but these instructions can easily be converted to other items. Becker for making these angel patterns also. I'm bursting with ideas and can't wait to start. Very disappointed - nothing to this book - just repeat of the same pattern. The only color photos are the front and back cover. All inside pages are black and white.
