Gone but Not Lost, revised and updated: Grieving the Death of a Child

Lists with This Book. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Nov 23, AJ rated it it was amazing. I was given this book by a friend soon after my four year old son passed away. It is written in a way that is helpful to grieving parents. The chapters are short but packed with good information. The author wrote in a way to both validate a parents feelings and help them move forward towards their "new" normal.

The readings are short and cover many of the topics that face the parents who have lost a child. It had been 10 years since our loss and I still found help and encouragement in this book. I will keep this book on my shelf and will pass it along if needed.

Written to reassure the person in grief that what they feel is normal for their situation, and also what to expect on their journey. Nov 28, Shirley rated it really liked it. This is a decent self-help book for those who have lost a child.

He was bumped by a car and died instantly. I found it very helpful to read and reread. And I have given a number of them away, and have received feedback that it was a very helpful book. A very helpful, easy to read book.
