Really good value, not over priced. Lovely setting upstairs. The food was exceptional, however service was a let down. When coming in, we waited at the door for about 5 mins and no one approached us. We then walked towards the bar to try and find out who should seat us. The waitress then told us we should have waited at the door for our table but we did, and no one helped us. We sat and ordered drinks even water took 15 mins to come , pornstar martini tree was amazing, however there wasn't enough shot glasses for prosecco so we only got 6 instead of 9, and the waitress never bought then rest of them to us.
We then had to wait quite a long time for the bill too. Not sure whether all of this was due to the lack of staff in on the evening. Loved the cocktails that we had - we shared one of the pornstar martini trees and then I had a margarita which was strong and delicious! The food was beautifully presented and was good. Nice and friendly waitress too!

The food was mediocre at best I had a club steak sandwich and the steak was chewy gristly and overcooked Terrible experience, we ate and politely left feeling jaded by the whole thing. Would definitely not recommend. The food was lovely but was very disappointed as there was no live music which had been advertised. Food and drinks were great.

Fantastic value!! Great service! Really nice meal and terrific service. Just wish the very good sticky toffee pudding had been hot. Was great for lunch. Apart from a hold up with the table, lovely place highly recommend. The best goats cheese salad I have ever tasted!! Chilled environment, good for people watching with a cocktail!! Definitely worth a visit!! Always good in the the living room. Whenever we head to Manchester we always make time for this place. Great atmosphere and decent people. Always a pleasure.

Booked a table at the Living Room for Valentines Day, and myself and my partner were thoroughly impressed with the service, the atmosphere, the quality of the food and cocktails. It was a busy night, but the service was efficient and and excellent. When we retired to the bar we had space to ourselves and not budging for room like most restaurants.
Food was brilliant and the live music ambience created was magical.
