Follow Monica Grenfell's diet plan to help shed weight and keep off the pounds []. It contains all the essential food groups such as fat, carbohydrate, protein and dairy. Unlike other weight-loss plans, which add in treats at the start, I restrict them as you begin to lose weight and gain confidence.

One turn of the wheel takes three weeks. In week one you eat 1, calories, in week two you have 1, calories and week three consists of calories. By week four, you have completed one revolution and can go back up to 1, calories by repeating week one, and so on. Yesterday I covered week one of the diet. Here are weeks two and three. Breakfast 1 egg, boiled or poached, 30g homemade muesli, 1 tablespoon tbsp yogurt, dessertspoon dstp blueberries sprinkled on top.

Serve on bed of salad greens, drizzle with vinaigrette dressing OR baked tomato: Fill with grated cheese, bake in oven, finish with swift hot grill or fill with dstp vegetable mix or chilli con carne. Bake in oven make sure to score skin first or it will split , serve with salad. Heat through, serve on colourful stir-fried peppers, courgettes, carrots, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Breakfast 1 slice granary toast, 1 egg, boiled or poached, black coffee or tea, half grapefruit.

Mozzarella and tomato salad: Baby cauliflower in light cheese sauce, 1 chicken breast or lamb chop, oven baked, 3 baby carrots, steamed, 3 stems broccoli. Feta, pear, walnut salad: Beef or mushroom stroganoff: Gourmet open ham sandwich with pickle: Cold chicken, hazelnut, fig salad with raspberry dressing: Add 1 tbsp raspberries to vinaigrette dressing and shake. Pour tbsp over other ingredients and serve on crisp iceberg lettuce.

Eat nothing but fruit before midday. Instead of just grabbing an apple and a few grapes and dashing out of the door, make it look inviting, perhaps as a platter with fruit arranged, sprinkled with blueberries and raspberries and include a sliced banana for fibre and carbohydrates.

Here you might say: I gave you the recipe yesterday. Other ideas are pasta with tomato sauce, rice with stir-fried vegetables, noodles with soy sauce and some vegetables or jacket potato with salad.
