The grammar and punctuation were bad, too, and I found myself looking for errors instead of following the plot. The idea of writing a story about the adventures of a group of seniors who are part of a dog walking group is intriguing, but the characters are poorly developed and lacked charm. The plot revolves around the female members of the group making a preposterous bet about seducing the male members of the group, and we are treated to a series of poorly written sexual encounters with eighty year old men.

This was an insipid story, poorly written, and badly presented.

I'm glad I got it for free. I was also irritated to see that two the two four star reviews are by the author. She is quoting a couple of blurbs for the book by others and takes the opportunity to award herself four stars each time.

I never even finished it. I am a senior and can't even imagine acting as these characters act. Others might think differently. One person found this helpful. This book was a huge waste of time and money. For a book touted for its humor it fell quite short.

Are You an Author?

It was shallow and lacked wit and humor. The characters lacked personality - even the dogs were boring.

I hate dogs, I hate seniors and I hate gambling. So why did I read this book? Well, actually, I love humor, even if it is intended as a series of lessons about people. Hum, maybe I read it because I am a psychologist wanna bee. Or maybe I was bored, and this was a great way to get unbored. Anyway, it was fun to speed read and then slow down in places.

Could not put down the book until it was completed. The writer is a gifted humorist and made being a senior citizen a humorous, exciting and fulfilling time. Time nor age did not decrease their creatively or interactive synergies.
