It also broadly covers medium-to-long term considerations, including public health and infection control, chronic illnesses management, family planning, peri-natal care, mental health and rehabilitation.

MB Planning for Disasters covers the process of planning a response to disaster, including personal, organisational, national and international preparations. MB Cultural Considerations in Disaster Response looks at the importance of making appropriate consideration for cultural beliefs within communities affected by disasters, especially as community and individual engagement are crucial to ensure an effective and successful response. MB Co-ordination and Management of Disaster Response gives a detailed overview on the process of disaster management as a whole, covering the complex process of co-ordination across cultural, and political system differences.
