Horses Recover More Quickly from Illness, Surgery and Lameness
I always get more out of it each time. I've had great experiences doing some hands on work with horses but Margrit's book Healing for Horses has such great info and it's all easy to read. Today i told my horse I'll never let anyone harm him in any way. I told him I'll protect him while doing chakra work on him. He sent me a vision of him as a small horse being held in my arms as one would hold a human baby. Some people won't understand this and others will tear up. This book has helped me in many ways. It's a valuable book for everyone who truly loves horses. Margrit Coates is one of the most lovely writers I've ever had the privilege of reading her many books.
Margrit is so easy to understand and you can feel her love and empathy for these amazing equines actually all animals. I can't get enough of what she has to tell her audience through her books and her DVD. Do yourself a favor if you want to help your animals buy all her books and her DVD. I only hope that she will come to the United States to teach us her animal healing classes in person.
Margrit is simply a beautiful person and all our beloved animals are blessed by having her help their humans to learn how to help them. On my journey from sharing healing energy with humans to horses, I read many books and Healing for Horses has become my favorite one of all. This book spoke to me at the intuitive level had helped to guide me to a place of greater confidence with these large and beautiful companion animals.

I have many books on energy healing in my library but this is my all time favorite one. In fact, I just ordered a second copy to carry with me in my car for use when I visit my equine clients. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to you. Donna at Equine Reiki of Southwestern Michigan.

Margrit humbly and compassionately shares her own journey and encourages others that they too can assist in healing their own horses. Margrit provides straightforward explanations, drawings and photos, and examples to illustrate how to gently and lovingly connect and help heal.
She cautions that veterinarians and other specialists should always be consulted in evaluating and treating horses and explains how hands-on healing augments and strengthens these modalities. While becoming a certified healer is committed process, Margrit demystifies hands-on healing and opens the door for others to find their potential and in doing so, benefit our horses.
I enjoyed Margrit's ideas on healing with horses. But, disagreed a little on her interpretation on what horses know. I believe that horses are very aware of their surroundings and situations. They are prey animals and want to run when scared, but if they trust you can be the leader then you can be successful in making them calm down. They do live in the here and now, but if you do believe in their spirituality, then you know they want authenticity and respect. It is funny, once our horses had time with an Animal Communicator, they all started being more forceful and their personalities starting really coming out.
A thoroughbred that seemed dead to most of us in attitude changed to being more dramatic and has really shown his fears lately. Keep an open mind if you read this book.
I enjoyed herring about her journey and it inspired me. Margrit Coates brings us this very special book written not by her hands but by her heart. Her passion for healing horses and humans alike shines from each page, each story, and each experience she shares with her readers. This book is a gift for those who truly love horses since it gives us permission to release the healing energy we all possess.
