For some it's short, but they live it like no other. For most it's long, and to be happy they don't ever bother. Life cannot be lived without the love of others. I found out last year that my best friend is dying. She's young and a mother to a beautiful little girl. She is smart, beautiful, and full of life. Watching someone I love die slowly has been In a world filled with changes each and every day..

I feel I'm being judged Reading this poem makes me realize the years my daughters are going through. They are really enjoying their growing up years playing toys, having fun watching cartoons, and playing on the Young, carefree, innocent You sing, laugh and dance Taking in all Gods' glory At every single chance All of my life I was living in a lie. It seems that my childhood has flown right by. As a child, I grew up without a father, so I know how it feels to be left alone most night because mum had work.

When I cried there was no shoulder to cry on. I miss my dad dearly, but I'm Don't be nervous when finding your purpose. To simply be alive is just scratching the surface. The line that really stands out for me in the following poem is the last one in the 2 nd stanza.

Poems for When Life is Just Hard

It mentions being delighted or happy each morning. I believe our attitudes in the morning could affect the rest of our day. So if you wake up cheerful and excited about whatever you have to do that day, you will attract positive energy from others. To Follow your heart, and intuition, That should be, your number one mission. Listen to your inner voice, Live your life, through your choice.

The point is to love, what you are doing, Your deepest passions; should be pursuing. Every moment, live excited, Every morning, be delighted. Always look forward, to what is ahead, Your thoughts and wisdom, gracefully spread.

A Poem About Living Life To The Fullest

Living life to the fullest, is up to you, Look in the mirror, always be true. The last two lines are pretty much about individual values. If we live by our values, it won't be difficult for us to look in the mirror each morning, and be proud of who we are and what we do. However, if our actions are not aligned with our values, we will create inner conflicts for ourselves. That's why I made a list of my personal values and read them out loud each day.

Sometimes in life, we need to make a decision to seek a different path or move on. This is definitely easier said than done.

However, if you're at crossroads in your life, maybe these quotes about moving on will help, which are featured on my good friend Jonathan's site. Here's a little short poem about life that is only six lines. Even though it's very short, I think it pretty much summarizes the theme of this section. Which is - life is very diverse and contains a mixture of both happy moments and hardships. How we decide to overcome and deal with this diversity, along with our attitudes, is completely in our control.

Life has many ups and downs, Loving smiles and also frowns. Good events and some are bad, Happy emotions, others mad. It can be a bumpy ride, How you handle it, you decide! The following verse looks at a very common saying in modern society. We all say it, all the time. Life's too short, to simply waste, Slow it down, don't move with haste. Time is once, you get to spend, Carefully choose, every friend. Life's too short, to change careers, Choice is yours, they're your years. Maybe once, or maybe twice, Look inside, to find advice.

Life's too short, to just complain, Rid negativity from your brain. Life's too short, time won't freeze, Enjoy it all, won't you please. I actually disagree with myself regarding the first line of the 2 nd verse. I actually don't think that life is too short to change careers, because I've done it myself. Some people questioned my decision, and some still do, but I block all that criticism, and just followed my heart and passions.

Before I'm done, I'll probably switch careers a few more times. But that's just that way I am, always curious, and always looking forward to trying new things. When I was writing this next poem about life and love, I tried to picture how one could exist without the other.

Poems About Life Struggles - Living Life Poetry

Life without love would certainly be very plain and mundane. While love without life, is just as hard. Life and love share a bond, Not through magic, nor a wand. Each of us, both we need, Nurture them, like a garden seed. Life with no love, substance lacks, To each soul, a heavy tax. Love with no life, slowly fades, It may take a few decades. Life and love, has so much beauty, We must enjoy them, that's our duty.

Open our hearts, and freely share, Life and love, will be very fair. Every time we wake each morning, we should be grateful for being blessed with life on this beautiful earth. If we are fortunate to have people that love us, that's another blessing. When we have both of these - we are happy. The following poem mentions a few reasons why we love life. One obvious reason, that's not included in the poem is the fact that this is the only life that we have. So we might as well make the very of it. Our life, we may shape and mould, It's more precious, than all the gold.

As we wake, there's a shine, From our sun, the day is fine. With our family, life we share, They love us back, they truly care. We are never, ever alone, We are people, we're not stone. I love life, for the little things, When a little child sings. Abundant joy, we may create, I love life, it's truly great!

Loving life may be very easy when everything is going well. When our families are happy and healthy, and our problems are minimal.

Short Poem About Life

It's much more difficult to love life when one faces a tragedy or is going through a really tough time in life. However, no matter how bad life may get at times, there's always home. We always have the opportunity to create or change our situation for the better. All we have to do is be motivated and inspired to do it. Personally, I receive much of my inspiration from famous quotes and while reading non-fiction literature that interests me. When writing the next poem, I tried to write it in a way so that others would be able to relate to it. Everyone's story is unique, and therefore, each individual will have a different "My Life Poem".

I just hope, this poem inspires you to write your personal "My Life Poem", that will represent that person that you are, and some of your characteristics.

Popular Poets of All Time

My precious life, I live each day, I work so hard, and try to play. Memory of old tombs, Rotting flesh and worms do Not convince me against The challenge.

The years And cold defeat live deep in Lines along my face. Life through my bloodshot eyes would scare a square 2 death poverty, murder, violence and never a moment 2 rest Fun and games are few but treasured like gold 2 me cuz I realize that I must return 2 my spot in poverty But mock my words when I say my heart will not exist unless my destiny comes through and puts an end 2 all of this. They all shook their heads and gave me a smile as though I was trying to fool with them And then one Sunday afternoon I wandered out along the Desplaines river And I saw a crowd of Hungarians under the trees with their women and children and a keg of beer and an accordion.

Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all,. And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world.

We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. Difficult because we think that happiness is found Only in the places where wealth and fame abound.

And so we go on searching in palaces of pleasure Seeking recognition and monetary treasure, Unaware that happiness is just a state of mind Within the reach of everyone who takes time to be kind. For in making others happy we will be happy, too.

For the happiness you give away returns to shine on you. Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field Frozen with snow.

50 Poems About Life, Love, And Everything Else

And out of the mist and murk Another truth shines plain — It is my power each day and hour To add to its joy or its pain. I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe:
