So what happens when Max and Emilia finally acts on their attraction to one another? Will Max be able to show Emilia that he will do anything for her and cherish her heart?

Layla Hagen has no problems in getting readers like myself addicted to this family themed series. I absolutely adore each and everyone of the sibling as they are all different and unique and yet have one thing in common, they are fiercely loyal to one another. And in the case of Max Bennett, he just needed the right kind of push to finally see and grab hold of the love that has been staring right at him.

So if you are a fan of friends to lovers trope with a second chance aspect thrown into the mix, then this sweet and inescapable love story is the book for you.

8 Things I Know for Sure About (Most) Middle School Kids

Max Bennett knows about business; his killer instincts and smart logic have help contribute tremendously to the success of the family 4.

Max Bennett knows about business; his killer instincts and smart logic have help contribute tremendously to the success of the family business. Max is not all about business though, he loves spending time with his family and having fun, but love is not really on his radar. When Max runs into his long, lost childhood best friend, Emilia Campbell he is so happy, but he never expected her to turn into such a beautiful and alluring woman, and having only, just a friendship with her will prove to be difficult. Emilia can't believe that the gorgeous guy in front of her is her best friend Max. Max Bennett and his family used to be such a big part of Emilia's life growing up, always showing her love and support, and she had been devastated to loose them all after her grandmother and her grandm had to move away.

Emilia and Max have tons to catch up on and he wastes no time inviting her out, but Emilia's life is very complicated.

Between having to care for her sick grandmother and working long hours as a physical therapist, she barely has time for anything else. Plus, Emilia's body's reaction to Max's presence is turning out to be dangerous, because her heart is not ready to have those feelings again, after being broken by her ex.

Max and Emilia acknowledge that they have chemistry and attraction for each other, but they decide to just stay friends. Yeah right??? Who could resist a Bennett brother? No-one, that's who Once these two get together the passion burns high. Max will caress with his hands every part of Emilia's body, and claim her whole heart with his charming and sweets ways. Max will discover that more than a best friend, she has been the girl that has owned his heart since he was only a boy.

This series is becoming one of my absolute favorites. I love the humor, the romance and the sweet nature of all these characters, that make it impossible not to smile like a fool as you read about their stories. Every book is about a different family member, each story unique but always giving the reader that same feeling of utter enjoyment. View all 6 comments. Layla Hagen writes feel good romance. Max Bennett and Emilia Campbell grew up together and were best friends from the day they met until she had to move away unexpectedly. When they reunite years later, their unexpected attraction comes to the surface.

Emilia believes her responsibilities and their long-standing friendship is paramount, so she fights the attraction. Max wants her and knows she wants him. He plans to claim her and take care of all her needs, regardless of her opposition. I enjoyed the characters, trope, and family dynamic of the story.

The audiobook is narrated by Lidia Dornet and Sebastian York The story is super cute and sexy and the narration perfectly matches it. I adore both these narrators and this performance nothing short of perfect! Another win from Layla Hagen!

Highly recommended. View 1 comment. I've been reading author Layla Hagen's novels for a while now and have had a love and adorment for the Bennett Family. Nothing screams "family" like them.

Out of the series so far, this story was one of my top favorites. I'm a complete sucker from friends to romance novels, but I feel this one brings not your typical cliched love story.

See a Problem?

What I like about this series is that there is always an element of love, family, friendship, growth, camaraderie, and sacrifice within each novel. Your I've been reading author Layla Hagen's novels for a while now and have had a love and adorment for the Bennett Family.

Your Inescapable Love is another great example as it highlights a two young individuals who formed a bond and never forgotten each other now coming together and beginning a new chapter in their lives. I loved the banter between these two as it was so effortless and sizzling, and yet you could feel their longing for the other.

Another wonderful read!! Meeting as children, Max became the friend that Emilia desperately needed. Years later they reconnect as adults and there's more there than a rediscovered friendship - there's off-the-charts chemistry. Neither Max nor Emilia are looking for a relationship but the time they spend together has them both rethinking that. Max and Emilia are such likable characters. Emilia has a lot on her plate working as a physical 3.

Emilia has a lot on her plate working as a physical therapist and also caring for the grandmother who raised her who now has Alzheimer's. She's independent and a hard worker but she's gun shy about relationships after her fiance dumped her three weeks before their wedding date. Max is a success in business but has always sworn off relationships in favor of casual flings with no strings attached. He is equal parts cocky and charming and I loved his desire to try to help Emilia and ease some of her burden. I really enjoyed the secondary characters, especially the other members of the Bennett family.

Max comes from a big family and I loved their interactions. If I had one quibble with the book it would some of the language that seemed so out of place. I have zero issue with profanity or dirty talk but some of it here felt so at odds with the overall tone of the book. It ended up seeming coarse and jarring. Your Inescapable Love was a wonderful contemporary romance that left me wanting to go back and read the previous books in the series.

That being said, even though this is the fourth book in the Bennett series, I had no issue reading it as a stand alone. View all 4 comments. Each time I read a new book within this series I wonder how it can be as good as the previous books. Amazingly enough it always is. I love this series. The dynamics between the family members is wonderful and just keeps getting better.

I love each and every character and their individuality and closeness. The transition from friends to lovers is moving and you want the best for these two characters. The characters are well developed and have a sizzling chemistry. The story flows beautifully and keeps you captivated until the last page is turned. I love that Max is an identical twin. The humor with Max and his twin Christopher is so much fun. Thank you Layla for another wonderful journey with the Bennett family. Shelves: standalone-in-a-series , arcs-aka-advanced-reader-copy , kindle-or-kindle-app-reads , contemporary-romances , layla-hagen-disc I have two great friends, my Grams, and this piece of heaven I can call home.

The seriousness 4. Emilia had already experienced tragedy early on in life. Luckily, she had her Grams and her neighbor, Max, and his big loving family. I loved the flashbacks that revealed how she and Max were there for each other as young kids during a time when she most needed a friend. Unfortunately, Emilia and her Grams moved away, and she and Max didn't keep in touch at all.

Thanks to a dare, Max was in need of physical therapy and ended up as Emilia's client.
