Neuropsychology of PTSD is a very useful and comprehensive review of the literature on this important subject. Each chapter presents a very comprehensive coverage of different aspects of the condition. My only criticism is that, in a subject in which developments are very fast moving, particularly in the neurophysiology area, it cannot be said to be exactly 'cutting edge'.

The sequencing of the human genome has seen enormous development since the beginning of the century and most of the references might be considered rather 'old'. For example there is little on the McEwen allostatic load model. This being said it is nevertheless an important book and anyone interested in the biological and underpinning neuropsychological basis of the condition will find much here to expand their knowledge.
