At the same time, departments need a flexible framework to explore new tools and more advanced options, that are both interoperable and secure.

The National Energy Board's Exploring Canada's Energy Futures tool allows users to explore energy production and consumption forecast trends by region and sector of the economy.

Digital assets have a longer life cycle than their supporting technologies and are especially vulnerable to corruption and loss.
