She has been sent by the thirteen co-Princes to protect and assist a troubled young girl. What she finds at the Dream Catcher Ranch is so much more than she planned for.

I absolutely love this book. Having not read the first book in the series I was somewhat concerned that I would be lost but Vera Clay did a fantastic job of integrating information from book one into book two so I was not at all confused. The story flows well and keeps the reader's attention. The characters are well written and endearing and the scenes are very well described.

My favorite character in the story is actually the little girl Zoe. She is a sweet child but she is very special and that specialness is hard for most people to deal with. Once Fawn is there to help her deal with her abilities the sweet little girl is able to shine through. Fawn is a fantastic story with a beautiful ending that brought tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to read the next installment of this great series. One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful. Fawn (Shapeling Trilogy, book 2) by Verna Clay

His daughter's new caregiver is certainly not the matronly type he'd expected. What had the employment agency been thinking to send such a breathtaking beauty to his cattle ranch? However, Wade's not too concerned about her sticking around. Zoe will probably drive her away before the day is over. Seven year old Zoe doesn't want to cause trouble; she just wants the voices in her head to stop talking. When her daddy brings home the new nanny, she can't believe her eyes. Not only is the nanny beautiful, but the colors surrounding her are different from any she's ever seen.
