Along came this book, suggested by a friend, and I am grateful to have found it. The quotations and 'blurbs' that accompany them fit nicely onto my Android device's screen, allowing me to get a quick read and even share the occasional screen shot when the mood strikes. I started reading the daily quotes June 17th. You can't go wrong with this one. This is the 2nd time I've ordered this book.
My yoga instructor reads from it each class and I loved it so much I ordered a copy for myself. Recently I attended a women's night out where we had to share our favorite book.

Rather than get him a book, since he would forget where he was or what has happened, I chose short quotes and stories. He and my mother read these out loud and found inspiration and also something to take their minds off the hospital. Now that he's out, he still keeps it on his side table. I bought this for my husband to read each day after he had brain tumor surgery to keep him positive. He reads it out loud every day. Some of the messages are a little odd but most have been good. This book is wonderful! I love to read a page to start off my day. The structure of each page is great, starting off with a quote, an interpretation of the quote, and a way to apply the quote into your life. I love this little book of positive quotations and keep it by my bedside: This is a book of quotations carefully selected by the author with a positive attitude!
You can feel the author's intention to encourage you to joyfully live through her selections and words. I was surprised to see the difference between this book and some other books of quotations, which were just a list of sayings by famous people. A year of positive quotes was not easy to read during a terrible year but I faithfully read my quote every day. These quote sometimes were one of the things that kept me going. Now, after a terrible year and this awesome book, my life is turning around and I am starting living again. I prefer to read a week's worth in one sitting. These quotes are not only uplifting and inspirational but bring out ideas that either were not thought about in some time, or not thought about at all. The one thing that I am very unhappy about though is, in my book a month is missing. August September 13 are not in my book. I find that frustrating, but other than that it is a wonderful book.
