They were extremely vivid color, high resolution, and very sharp. That's only the price of 2 Kindles.

The book itself is put together very nicely. Images, writing, specs, it's all there and is really great. Navigating for me was a piece of cake as the Kindle App for HP WebOS has the scroll bar accessible at the bottom of the screen when you want it and the cars are all in alphabetical order. It has been an absolute breeze to scroll to whichever car I wanted to read about first; whether it was on page 2 or page 3, that's how many "locations" my app splits it out to via scroll bar, there aren't actually that many pages; comes out to "print-pages" per the description.

All that being said, it'd be nice to know about these differences before purchasing.

If I had my heart dead-set on pictures, I probably wouldn't have bought this book based on the reviews saying how bad they are. Imagine my surprise when they were that good. Haven't read the whole thing as I just bought it, but so far the writing and specs are dead on. One person found this helpful. The only reason I gave this three stars is because it's difficult to read on the Kindle. There's no working table of contents, which is frustrating for a book like this where you want to jump around from car to car rather then reading the entire book sequentially. Not a bad book if you like reading, however it is easier to use the internet to do your research about latest car models.

But if you are book reader this makes a great coffee table book. There is a lot of great information, but the pictures could not be worse. I think showing NO pictures would have been better than seeing the awful pictures that were included. I'm not too surprised that someone would think the book is great on the Kindle. Unfortunately, I'm sure the pictures look the same on the Kindle as they do in the actual book One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful.

For the price of an average magazine here is a complete guide to the best Sports Cars on the planet. Great pictures, full specifications and well written reviews which really bring these cars to life. This publication really shows that the Kindle is not just for books but can handle a wide variety of content. I have not read the book just perused and looked at the pictures, the pictures are horrible all grey, I was expecting that there would be good glossy colored pictures, but totally disappointed.

Its not mentioned that the book would have color pictures but also it did not mention that only black and white pictures would be there in the book.

Automotive Intelligentsia 2009 2010 Sports Car Guide

I am dissapointed in the book reviews that I read about this book. It is true that the pictures are black and white but on my kindle they would be anyway. There are one or two pictures that could have shown more of the car, but I also know that the pictures are probably from the car companies that built them. The book is well written and very informative, especially for someone looking to buy a sports car. The author included specifications after he talks about the car and they are well organized.

The book had a great selection of cars from the million dollar Bugatti down to the everyday Honda. I recently noticed the author wrote another in the series for and I look forward to reading it. I hope the author continues to write more books in this series. Daniel Turner, automotive author, age See all 9 reviews. Most recent customer reviews.
