Just made my first set of candles and am loving the product so far! You can adjust the size of your wick depending on the height of your candle which cuts down on the waste you get from pre cut wicks. It came with a generous tabs. The only thing is in the instructions it suggests to twist two strands together for a thicker wick and that won't fit into the supplied tabs, but this is a minor issue and I can easily purchase more tabs for when I want a thicker wick.
In my soy candles I have about a 2 inch burn pool and am very happy with the results.

I have used them with the included stickers and poured. Also used them with a cooled pour then either drill or push a hole, cut off metal base, insert wick then either pour to seal hole or use drilled out wax and pack it in. Unless you are using some pretty esoteric materials or shapes these will work. In fact I cannot think of a situation in which they would not work. I never would have purchased them if I had seen that in the description. The thing about pre-cut wick already affixed to metal sticks is to make them easy to use. These are so thickly waxed that this cannot be done. On some candles, mostly ones with single wicks that have been dyed with color, they are OK. However with candles that are either undyed or double wicked, the candle fills with soot and turns a dark gray when burned. I've tested several identical candles with different brands and models of wicks, and these EricX wicks are the only ones that soot like this.
They might be best used with paraffin wax instead of soy, not sure. But with that said, these worked perfectly. I mean, how different can one brand be to the next? So I bought these, mainly based on price AKA they are cheap and the they do the trick! What else can you ask for?

Revised - I am adding a few stars to how I originally rated this item. I have had better luck with subsequent candles. Doesn't perform well I got these when I first started making candles, and quite honestly, I've had nothing but trouble with them. These wicks don't seem to burn well in soy candles I didn't test them in any other kind of wax - I ended up just making a pure soy candle with no coloring or scent as a test, and was really disappointed to see a very low flame and about an inch pool, which resulted in tunneling through the entire candle.
Change in quality Been purchasing around of these per month for my business. Unfortunately in the past month or so they have changed the quality of these wicks. The new ones are extremely flimsy and noticeably thinner than the previous version. As you can see from the photo they are no longer double dipping the wicks.

The wick worked great! It was a nice, small, even flame without smoke. We had tried a different wick that was had on hand and that wick we had to dip into the oil first which leads to stinky fingers with the smell of lamp oil, and not an ideal thing with 80 girls!!!
Really happy with the wick! Works best when primed. Priming a wick is easy, and there are many tutorials online. You need to soak the pre-cut wicks in the melted wax for a few minutes to let the wax penetrate the cotton and release any trapped air. Laying them out straight you have to be quick! They also may burn more slowly and evenly than the wick when un-primed.
Economical choice but more time consuming than wicks sold with tabs attached I bought these along with wick tabs to use in making wicks any size I wanted rather than buying sets of different sizes. I have to say that although they are more economical they aren't as quick and easy as the pre-made wicks and when you are making a bunch of candles, it makes a big difference in the time you have to spend making your own wicks with this product.
