I absolutely fell in love with the story of Devon and Drew and hoped until the end they would live in "Neverland". I won't say any more so I don't ruin it for anyone who hasn't read this book yet. Of all the character's I have to say Aunt Tippy is one of my favorites. What a neat lady. I stayed up late last night just to finish this book and couldn't wait to leave a review.

My emotions were taken for a ride and I found myself going from laughter to tears within a few pages. I thought this book was beautifully written and epic. I had enjoyed reading this book. This book is definitively different than the books I had already had read. I love how it got your emotions bursting with excitement, tears, and thoughts of your own.

I loved the end the best with what the detective had said to Devon Pearse. It was just a wonderful experience to read, I look forward to her next book. After the recent flurry of excitement about the 'other' Gray titles,I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying an extrememly well written story.

I thought the first few chapters were a bit of a mishmash, but once the action began the story took on new life and I liked it very much - in fact, I liked it so much I didn't put my Kindle down until I read the last page of "A lighter Shade of Gray". I absolutely love reading books that when I turn the last page, I want to say, "then what? Thank you Devon Pearse, you are very good! I really liked this book.

The story was involved and the characters really came to life. I found it hard to put down. And, as in real life, things don't always turn out the way you would like. And our actions have consequences. I look forward to reading more of Devon Pearse's books.

    • I had a hard time getting into it at first. But once I got into it I had a harder time putting it down. I cried so many times in this book. It touches your feelings so much.
