Please try again later. This book has saved my life, as a refugee from the low-carb diet for 15 years, and I finally feel healthy again.

I am losing weight and my 61 year old skin is looking much better. I look like I have a glow again. If you follow this way of eating your body is going to thank you. I know this book has been around for awhile, but the info is timeless as is the greek way of eating. Highly recommend this book just for the health benefits and losing weight is a nice bonus.

One person found this helpful. Too many exotic and expensive ingredients. Should have know by the title! Take a breadth and smell the spinach, the fish, the carrots you are about to eat! Introduce respect for your food as it ultimately becomes you. Its a whole new attitude for our busy life, which today is fed by dispensed, plastic snacks and trans-fatty cookies.

And Dr Papas goes even further, suggesting its good to eat Fats! Yes, I learned something here: And figure this one out: I loved reading this book. It is very personal, like a life story: And gradually he is revealing why people in France eat better, live longer and look slimmer. Its all about the fresh food, the fish, the salads, the wine and Dont be fooled by the title: This is not a day recipe for looking better at the lovely resort of St Tropez.

This is a warm, easy introduction to a different quality of life we all deserve and should consider for the rest of our lives. Thank you Dr Papas! I loved this book. Surprised to not really hear much about it. I found it one day while playing on Amazon and reading reviews. After I read the reviews I immediately bought the book.

It is an easy read. Simple and to the point. I have been trying the simple recipies day to day for the past two weeks and love most every one of them. I feel like a gourmet chef but it is so easy. My kids are still a little stand offish about trying radically new stuff but I know in time they will get more and more used to it. I love having a glass of wine now and then and I do find that I simply enjoy the taste and freshness of the food.
