Read all these books! That being said it's a shame some are so expensive.
They are worth every penny. But it should be more accessible to all readers. If you care about what's happening there and the people who represent us with the utmost honor then these books deserve an audience and to be read. To learn from are mistakes and honor those who work so hard for America. Are military service men on the front are so amazing. I love you guys, thank you and thank you and thank you! The entire Afghanistan War Series by Christ is really excellent reading. It is good to hear from someone who isn't afraid to give the reader an account "from on the ground" as it were. Newspapers, magazines and the like present a nice "party line" of information to support political positioning rather than through the eyes of those who are fighting in behalf of us, the readers.

Having read the entire series as available, I would simply apply this to all of Christ's writings. One person found this helpful. I jumped into this Christ story with the expectation of reading another tale of the bravery of our troops, but by the time I was finished I was angered by the way five of our soldiers were placed in harm's way for political game playing and the shuffled around by their superiors who ignored their plight and the wounds of our allies who fought with them. If not for the professionalism of four of the five US troops this would have been a stain on the US 's involvement.
I have read the entire series by James Christ. It is a good thing the stories are limited to facts and details of a single situation, since you cannot put the book down once you start. The author does a consistently good job of capturing the details of each action, from the perspective of the combatants I recomend the entire series, if you are interested in history, and the major events of the Afghanistan war.

Well written accounting of embedded US Army trainers' commitment to the mission despite awful, politically motivated senior leadership. It's amazing that these folks made it out without more casualties. I'm prior service and have been in some bad situations but we always had support. I would like to ask Bush if these soldiers were a write off.

Would be say that about his own children. Glad I was never in the army. All of James Christ books are a great read. I love how he just deals with one event and tells it from the prospective of men involved. Details are clear and well written. I have all his books and really hope he writes more. My hope is that he will add I read every book in this series. The author did an amazing job. My hope is that he will add more to this series.
