I am truly excited to report that Mr. Olesky's recent book "A Manual for the Modern Mystic, How to Practice Being in the Presence of God" is a masterpiece of understanding with regard to the relationship between universal spiritual laws and their manifestation here on the physical plane.

As the result of the fact that Mr. Olesky has been a practicing wholistic astrologer for over 35 years it seems quite natural that his book fluidly presents the twelve universal laws as they correspond to the signs of the zodiac. This book is not an ordinary book about astrology. It is far more comprehensive in its content linking astrology to metaphysics in a way that promotes spiritual growth and consciousness.
Olesky's immense knowledge and understanding of the Infinite, modern religions, in addition to wisdom of the ancient wise ones, anthropology, literature and contemporary physics is demonstrated in his ability to refine and describe these laws with amazing skill. His first chapter is "The Law of Creativity" which is assigned to the first sign of the zodiac Aries; and the second chapter is "The Law of Survival" which is associated with the sign of Taurus. The book is valuable for someone interested in all twelve universal laws, but also I recommend it as a reference book for anyone interested in just a specific sign or two.
I have to admit to begin with I read the chapter describing the law associated with my own sign. I was thrilled with it because it rang so clearly true for me that I was inspired to start the book from the beginning. This enabled me to comprehend all the laws, since he does reference previously described laws in subsequent chapters. All of his chapters start out with personal antidotes, many of them humorous, and they allowed me to find an intimate human connection to the law he was describing. I particularly like his sensitivity to emotional subjects and how they affect our lives.
I would not call the book easy reading, but it is actually really engaging and probably there is an advantage in reading parts of a chapter or one chapter at a time. It simply depends on the reader's prior metaphysical education. I can say for myself that although I have studied a great deal of my life I learned new things from Mr. Olesky's perspectives and became refreshed on concepts I hadn't thought about for several years.
