School Information Categories

The next collection is on 10th June so watch this space to see how much we make. Obviously we understand that not everyone is able to help organise events but we always appreciate the support that you give us simply by turning up and having fun. We also buy and sell the PE kits. We have big plans to develop the Friends of Primrose Hill and expand our events and calendar.

We are also introducing parent reps. All the money we raise goes towards the childrens enrichment. Its such a great way to get involved in your childs school and make a difference. We look forward to working with you during the next year.

Happy bags We are always collecting old clothes, shoes, belts bags and bed sheets that we then sell to the happy school bag company. Employees have to buy uniforms their uniforms which isn't that big of a deal, but they aren't cheap at all. The turnover rate is a joke. When I put in my 2 weeks notice, I was told that if I didn't work the full 2 weeks my pay would be reduced to minimum wage for the time worked. I found that to be outrageous and had never heard of something like that happening in a workplace. I went home and read through the entire employee handbook and found no statement or policy about a wage reduction if you left before completing the 2 weeks.

I feel like the management is just making up their own rules and assumes no one will say anything. I'm outraged and they shouldn't be able to get away with it.

Be more respectful to your employees and don't talk down to them. And for heavens sake, pay your employees more. Especially if you make them attend work events. If I'm at work, I expect to get paid. The curriculum is great, the kids really learn a lot. I liked building relationships with all of the kids and helping them learn. Management is a joke. They don't train the teachers. They only care about money.

The turnover is insane. Over 15 people have left since they added the curriculum coordinator. They don't care about the teachers at all. They pay us 60p per kilo so the more clothes you donate the more money we make.

If your having a spring clear out please think of us. Leave all clothes etc in the office.
