Some of his pieces are long and some are short and this is easy for quick reading or to sit and soak in the longer pieces. I highly recommend this to anyone that has even just heard a little of these stories. I was pleased to find some of his harder to find works in here as well.
Just a great collection overall. He is a masterful author of suspense and has such a beautiful way with words. I love how not all of his work is dark and drab but it is all entertaining. There is something in this for everyone. What's Halloween without some Edgar Allen Poe? I spot checked this book choosing some top selections from Listverse including "The Facts in the Case of M.
While a table of contents is provided, if you page back from the beginning of the book you'll find a listing of the tales and poems in chronological order which I found helpful.

I make a review of when I get a free downloadable book for my Kindle. I'd say that fewer than one in a hundred do I actually read, and of them that I quickly scan over in order to make a quick review to my friends is more like one oi a couple of hundred. The point of my review is to get people to make a free download within a few day period and then to read it as useful to them.
The strains of "The Raven" was played about every day by the guy in the adjoining dorm room. Anyway, this particular anthology of Edgar Allen Poe seems to be complete, well formatted as I downloaded it and clicked the links within the e-book and it works. Best of all, it is a free download.
I recommend that those reading my blog and forum with a Kindle or a computer or tablet do download it forthwith.
Amazon asked me some really silly questions about this book in their automatic rating -- so ignore that stuff. This is Edgar Allen Poe.
You either know him or you don't. If you don't, get this book. If you do, you probably;ly have some Poe already. This would still be a great addition to your collection. When it comes to Edgar Allan Poe's works there is no comparison and all of his stories are wonderful reading. Edgar Allan Poe what more can you say? You either love him or you don't but there is clearly a reason why he is still being so widely read over years after his death.
